On Saturday I noticed in my Facebook memories, it was exactly a year to the day I shot radio host Dave Moore and comedian Neil Delamere for their podcast "Why Would You Tell Me That?"
It was a nice little reflection moment on how diverse sessions can be.
That week, I had a student on work experience in the studio. Wendy Stunt & Trevor Stunt had trusted me to mind their baby Adam.
During that week we had shot for Arena Capital Partners Limited, Lisa McKenna solicitors, Barden between studio and onsite sessions. All different and very focused on the kind of imagery you see on business websites and Linkedin.
Then in what sounds like the start of a joke, a DJ and a Comedian walk into the studio!!
Dave has been a friend of mine for more than 10 years, Neil, I was meeting for the first time. Adam, was suitably impressed at the celebrity turn the week took.
After some, we need to meet the brief-esque images, it was time to have some real fun and for each of the lads, I just said "Right, GO!"
Adam's jaw... hit the floor as we took around 200 photographs within minutes of the 2 lads turning on performance mode.
Every week, I am reminded of why I love what I do. Both standing in the studio watching people have huge reactions to seeing themselves for the first time, and watching people who are already desensitised to the camera run off playing like these two.
